Graphene Quantum Dots?Modified Resorcinol?Formaldehyde Resin for Efficient Hydrogen Peroxide Production

Photocatalytic production of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) with water and oxygen as clean source is considered to be a sustainable strategy. Resorcinol-formaldehyde (RF) resin has attracted much attention promising polymeric photocatalyst, but the inefficient charge transfer restricts its corresponding photocatalytic efficiency. Herein, design synthesis graphene quantum dots (GQDs) modified RF (RF-GQDs) composite via freeze-drying method are reported. The improvment RF-GQDs separation efficiency achieved through combination electrostatic interaction between GQDs RF, thus greatly enhancing performance. optimal display best H2O2 activity 2.45 mmol h?1 g?1, which 5.1 times that bare (0.48 g?1). This work might contribute new way for development RF-based ploymeric photocatalysts efficient production.
